Welcome to the website of Nicholas Evan Sarantakes. A historian, Sarantakes writes mainly on U.S. foreign policy and military strategy in the twentieth century. His writing interests are broad and he has written on topics as diverse as the Olympics, Richard Nixon, and Star Trek. His teaching has included courses on military strategy, the history of World War II and U.S. foreign policy as well as others on modern India and modern Japan.
